EA Mobile nabs Trivial Pursuit mobile licence

Until now, Trivial Pursuit mobile games have been released by RealArcade. However, the licence has now passed to EA Mobile, as part of its wider casual deal with boardgame giant Hasbro.

The publisher will be releasing its first Trivial Pursuit mobile game this winter in North America, Europe and Asia, to celebrate the board game's 25th anniversary.

Meanwhile, EA has launched Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 on its Pogo web gaming portal (it can be found here), and will launch versions of the core brand for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii early next year.

EA's Hasbro deal has clearly put a dent in the revenues of several of its mobile rivals. RealArcade has lost Trivial Pursuit, while Monopoly passed from Glu Mobile to EA earlier this year.
