Codejunkies brings tilt sensor to PSP

Codejunkies, best known for third-party accessories and DVDs crammed with cheats, has bought something quite special to the PSP: an accelerometer.

You plug the Tilt FX sensor into to device's headset port, and download the custom FX profiles to your PSP. Then you can swap normal directional controls for a three-axis tilt sensor that lets you control the action by twisting and turning the PSP.

The video shows games such as WipEout Pure, MotorStorm, Gran Turismo, Loco Roco, Mercury Revolution, Super Monkey Ball, and a pinball game.

It wouldn't be a Codejunkies product without some bizarre cheat codes. The Tilt FX also gives you the opportunity to unlock "Super Jumps" and "Low-G" in games like Tomb Raider Anniversary and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

If you want to buy the £14.99 device, make sure you pick the right version as the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000/3000 models will need different models. PSPgo users are, as usual, out of luck for now at least.
