It's all over, but what a ride. We asked you to submit your nominations for your finest gaming experiences of the past year and you didn't disappoint, blanketing our awards committee with an avalanche of submissions covering an impressive breadth of genres and styles.
We were left with the difficult task of whittling everything down to the 20 titles, while attempting to reflect the quality of the nominations – mainstream, casual, indie, arthouse, groundbreaking, old skool… it all made it into the rather splendid shortlist.
But which game is THE best? That bit was left up to you – the voting phase saw thousands of you championing your favourites. And that's why the People's Choice is always one of the most coveted awards – it's decided by you, the players, and game developers genuinely appreciate that.
Now all that's left is to unveil the winner, which we'll do at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Game Awards 2020 in association with Game Insight gala dinner event on January 21st. (And we'll obviously announce it on PG.com right after for the pocket gaming world to know.)
