Terminator Salvation and Siberian Strike price cuts within a fortnight

'Ta very much', says Gameloft. 'Cha-ching'

Terminator Salvation and Siberian Strike price cuts within a fortnight

The only thing better than a cheap game is two cheap games - unless, of course, you did the developer a huge favour and bought them new at full whack. Last week.

Gameloft is apparently trying to annoy the hell out of iPhone gamers who recently paid £3.49 for Siberian Strike and £5.99 for Terminator Salvation (and when we say recently, we mean within the last fortnight), as it’s just dropped the cost of both by almost half.

It’s not so much that the games weren’t worth their initial asking prices, as Siberian Strike pulled in a well-earned Gold Award while Terminator Salvation landed a Bronze, and both have proven popular with the players.

Gameloft’s not likely to be making many friends, however, thanks to such peculiar timing in its price drops, which will only serve to make gamers hold off on buying its next releases. And who could blame them?

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
